Playing Cards building

For this project we were given 12 playing card to build a strucer that can hold at lest 5lb. for ten second. The strucer had to be eight inch high and have a base of four inch. Later  on the teacher gave use two more playing cards that we can use on the strucer. Joel and I only used 11 of the 14 playing cards. are first design did work but it wouldnt be able to hold that much weight. So we desided to change the design nere the end of the class. This new design held put with a maximum load of 10lb. We tryed to put a book on the strucer with the 10lb. but it didnt hold up. Out of the three groups ares and mishia and wills design held up the best and the other group had a hard time holding up to the 5lb.
